Tickets for 50 Ball Bingo contain just ten numbers, from 1 to 50, which are spread over two lines of five (there are no blank spaces).
By reducing the how many balls and numbers are used in the game, Gala have created a form of bingo that will be much faster than what you’re probably used to. It’s also fully mobile compatible – most likely to cater to players who want to drop in for a ‘quickie’ whilst waiting for the bus.
As with all online bingo games, the numbers are marked off automatically and all prizes claimed on your behalf (so there’s no need to yell ‘house’ – although there’s no reason for you not to either!).
Prizes
All 50 ball bingo games are run the same way when it comes to winners and there are two prizes up for grabs in each game:
- One Line – Fill one horizontal line of five numbers before anybody else.
- Full House – Be the first to fill your card and you’ll win the main prize.
Prizes will vary depending on the ticket price and number of players. To spice things up a little, there’s also a jackpot that can be won – which we’ll get to in the next section.
Jackpots
In addition to the regular prizes listed above, there is also a £1,000 jackpot for any player who manages to call house in 19 bingo calls or less. This jackpot is fixed, meaning it doesn’t increase over time or decrease when somebody wins it.
At just 19, the number of calls needed to win the jackpot is significantly less than in other games types, such as its 90 ball bingo cousin, but don’t forget that there are significantly less balls in play.
